Fractional Skin Resurfacing is an innovative new treatment that can produce similar results without the worry, whilst still delivering visible results
Fractional Skin Resurfacing works by creating tiny channel wounds in a grid like pattern which treats approximately 15 – 20% of the skins surface with each treatment, allowing a swift recovery. As only a small portion of the skin is targeted in the treatment, the body quickly sets in motion the skin’s healing processes, closing the channels with new cells and promoting new collagen growth in the deeper layers. This dual process remodels the skin by filling in the acne scars, blending uneven pigmentation, smoothing and tightening the skin and minimising fine lines and wrinkles.
Generally a course of 2 – 5 treatments is recommended however this depends on the skin condition we are treating. The skin continues to repair and remodel itself for several months after treatment leaving the skin visibly smoother and refined.
